This is an “in progress” shot of my current painting…I’m not a fan.

Of course the colors are a lot more vivid in real life.

Still, something isn’t right with this.

I want to say it needs more tension? In the color pallet?

oh well it looks like 100x better than it did last night so I guess with that improvement rate gimme a few more nights and I’ll be cooking with gas.

Side note: Do you think that phrase “cooking with gas” started as a marketing slogan thought up to get people to cook with gas appliances? It seems like it.
